Caring for your towels

We recommend washing your towels before first use. Towels may shed a little fluff during the first few washes and dries - this is normal.

Towels can be washed on warm, but we recommend washing on cold for a more eco-friendly option with similar colors. Tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Bleach only when needed with non-chlorinated bleach.

Your towels will get softer and more absorbent with each wash. Wash 2-3 times to best reveal the natural properties of the hemp.

We encourage using an eco-friendly laundry detergent without any added dyes or perfumes and wool dryer balls. Avoid using fabric softener or dryer sheets as these additives coat the fiber of the cloth and can break it down over time. The hemp in our towels have antibacterial and hypoallergenic properties to keep your towels feeling fresh naturally.

Our unique blend of hemp and cotton creates a strong towel that will stand up to many washes and dries. These towels were designed to be lived in. At the end of its long life, your towel can be composted because it is made of 100% natural fibers and isn't dyed with any synthetic dyes. If home composting, simply cut up your towels into small pieces and mix into your regular home compost.
